One of the lasts steps in my design process is choosing a colour. Often I find this is the most difficult decision to make. White seems like the most pure an object can be. Especially when the shape and function have been defined, deciding on a colour feels like hiding it’s essence. That’s why I did a research about using a coloured transparent glaze on top of coloured clay. This way there’s an interaction between the two. The combination of both of these colours and the shape of the product create a gradient.
